Definitely not a fling typa thing.

But as long as you can be open about your issues with the relationship, it should all end happily ever after maybe. But depending on your own social habits, hearing people say or worse, hearing that they told someone else something negative about your relationship can wear a person down. Find your inner Madonna and come up with a good comeback to use on the fly with rude people and ways to stay secure in your new fling. You need to be really clear about your goals — both professional and personal — and hash it out with them.

If someone is still figuring things out, it might not be time to sign a lease together, or even be totally exclusive, just yet. Are you guys planning little trips months in advance? Talking about each other's birthdays or big holidays? Planning and compromising are two huge parts of commitment which mean that serious verbal commitment is soon to follow.

Are you in their stories? Maybe in a Facebook album somewhere? It's a definite sign that they want people to know that you're together. Ambiguous or hidden social media can seriously sketch people out as a sign that your partner isn't looking for real commitment.

Report Thread starter 5 years ago 1. A question for the guys You see, i'm 18 and female, my boyfriend is We started going out when I was 17 and had just finished school, he was 21 and working full time. Personally, I see nothing wrong with that because we were of legal age and I was on the cusp of adulthood, but at the time some of my friends had a problem with it. They thought it was weird that I was going out with someone 4 years older. He's lovely and a great man, very patient and considerate we waited 3 months before having sex cos i wasn't ready until then and it was our 8 month anniversary yesterday so the relationship its self is lovely.

I just wondered what people think about the fact that i was 17 and he 21 when we began dating?

Haters gonna hate.
